Elinor Appel (she/her)
Hello! My name is Elinor Appel, and I鈥檓 excited to be your HDC instructor this quarter. I鈥檝e worked at North Seattle 国产直播福利 for twenty years鈥攆irst as a librarian and later as an English instructor for immigrants and refugees. One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is that I learn just as much from my students as they learn from me. Helping students recognize their strengths and explore their paths is my passion, and it鈥檚 been a joy to see them grow over time.
In my free time, I like to take long walks, read books (or listen to audiobooks), and spend time with friends and family. Family is very important to me. Over the past thirty years, I鈥檝e watched my sons grow into wonderful men with their own lives, but we still see them regularly. Now, my husband and I share our home with our dog, who is definitely part of the family.
