Financial Aid Assistant

Description:

  • Greet and assist students, staff, and visitors in person, by phone, and via email
  • Provide general information about financial aid processes and direct inquiries to appropriate staff as needed
  • Using office equipment to check emails, make copies, and update computer databases
  • Maintaining and updating forms, correspondence, memos, and other materials
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry
  • Completing assignments and projects according to instructions from supervisors
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records and sensitive information
  • Assist with organizing outreach materials and event preparation
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned by financial aid staff

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Competency with computers and Typing.
  • Physical and digital filing systems (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Strong interpersonal and math skills.
  • Professionalism.
  • Experience confidential information (preferred).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Has Work-Study Eligibility.
