Emergency Assistance for Students
North Seattle 国产直播福利 is proud to support students with emergency financial grants while enrolled in school.
We know that unexpected expenses and emergencies can create a barrier to remaining enrolled in school and completing your program of study at North Seattle 国产直播福利. The Emergency Grant and Housing Grant are intended as one-time help to provide temporary, partial relief while students connect with long term support resources
Funds are limited and not all students will receive Emergency Grant funds. If we are unable to assist you with a financial grant, we will refer you to community resources as available.
Emergency Grant Eligibility:
- Students must be experiencing a financial emergency because of an unexpected emergency.
- Students can receive the grant only once per academic year
- Students must be enrolled in at least 3 credits
- Students must meet with a Resource Navigator to share their request
Examples of eligible expenses include:
- Medical bills
- Emergency car repairs
- One-time help with textbook costs
- Technology
- Partial rent expenses related to an unforeseen emergency
The grant cannot pay for:
- Tuition
- Past due tuition balances (payment plans now available)
- Supplemental income
- Clothing (except for work uniforms)
- Requests for reimbursement
- Credit card bills
- Past debt
- Student loan payments
- Traffic violations
- Child support
*Note: Backup documentation may be required for some expenses and because of limited funding, not all applicants will receive a grant.
